For Engineering and Technology disciplines, credit level passes are required in five subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates seeking admission into the Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honors) program must possess a credit in Literature-in-English.

Evaluation of Applications

It’s crucial to note that earning the aforementioned marks and grades does not ensure admission to the university. The most eligible applicants in the applicant pool are awarded acceptance after careful evaluation of applications.

Factors taken into account include JAMB scores, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, IGCSE scores, and SS1, SS2 & SS3 transcripts.

Interested candidates can fill out the online application or send a filled-out paper copy to the American University of Nigeria’s Admissions & Financial Aid Office or the Abuja Liaison Office.

The application should include the completed application form, SSCE results, transcripts from high school (SS1-3), a letter of recommendation, JAMB result, a copy of an ID card, and a personal essay on why you are choosing AUN and your future ambitions.
