Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) is now selling forms for admission into its Basic General Nursing and Post Basic General Nursing programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session. See the requirements and how to apply for the OAU school of nursing form below.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife following programs:
- Basic General Nursing (This is a three-year programme commencing in October 2021).
- Post Basic General Nursing (This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in April 2022).
OAUTHC School of Nursing Admission Requirements
Basic General Nursing:
- Applicants must possess: WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.
Post Basic General Nursing:
- Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Be a registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Have at least one year post registration working experience.
How to Apply for OAUTHC School of Nursing Admission Form
Basic General Nursing:
Application forms are obtainable online from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife website www.oauthc.com at Eight Thousand Naira (N8000.00) only through remita platform via OAUTHC Website.
Passport Photograph: Two recent identical passport photographs should be attached to the application form.
Mode of Examination: The examination will be Computer Based Test.
Closing Date: 17th August 2021.
Date of Entrance Examination: The entrance examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee between Tuesday 24th August 2021 and Wednesday 25th August 2021

- Oral Interview: Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th August 2021
