A male and a female lecturers of the Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt were captured on a video trending online on Thursday, August 11, forcefully cutting a female law student’s braid.
The incident is believed to have happened in the Law Department of the school in the presence of some students that reportedly videoed the incidence.
The lectures are said to have accosted the student claiming the hairstyle she had on was inappropriate and that it goes against the school’s dress code for students of the faculty.
The lecturers, a man and a woman, were with a pair of scissors as they join forces to cut the braid.
